Description

Open Academic Paper Machine — Autonomous academic paper production system with idea evaluation gate and paper-vs-code audit. NEW in v6.4: /audit-paper command and audit-engine skill — static audit of a paper's empirical claims (datasets, models, hyperparameters, metrics) against the linked code repository, classifying each claim as CONFIRMED / PARTIAL / MISSING / MISMATCH / NOT_AUDITABLE with file:line evidence. Complements verification-engine (which checks external citations) by checking own-work claims against own code, closing the second major failure mode of LLM-assisted writing. Inspired by Feynman's /audit command. v6.3 still included: Phase 0 (Idea Evaluation) with 3 specialist agents (Idea Critic, Research Strategist, Brainstormer), 7 evaluation dimensions, 8 research strategy principles (RS1-RS8), and the conclusion-first test. Uses MCP academic-search tools (Semantic Scholar, OpenAlex, CrossRef, arXiv) for literature search, snowballing, and export. PaperBanana for AI figure generation (direct Python API). 17 skill engines (idea, literature, theory, method, writing, qualitative, figure, verification, audit, LaTeX, review + screening, peer review, positioning, submission, presentation, co-author). 24 curated scientific skills from K-Dense AI. 21 slash commands including /audit-paper, /evaluate-idea, /brainstorm, /triage-project, /scooping-check, /write-paper, /analyze-interviews, /review-paper, /screen-papers, /prepare-submission, /analyze-positioning, /analyze-writing, /monitor-literature, /verify-citations, and /generate-slides.
