Install

Copy this and paste it into Claude Code, Cursor, or any AI assistant:

I want to install the "frontend-design" skill in my project.

Please run this command in my terminal:
# Install skill into the correct directory
mkdir -p .claude/skills/politron-ide && curl --retry 3 --retry-delay 2 --retry-all-errors -o .claude/skills/politron-ide/SKILL.md "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/lchenrique/politron-ide/main/skill.md"

Then restart Claude Code (or reload the window in Cursor) so the skill is picked up.

Description

Create distinctive, production-grade frontend interfaces with high design quality. Use this skill when the user asks to build web components, pages, or applications. Generates creative, polished code that avoids generic AI aesthetics.

Design Thinking

Before coding, understand the context and commit to a BOLD aesthetic direction: • Purpose: What problem does this interface solve? Who uses it? • Tone: Pick an extreme: brutally minimal, maximalist chaos, retro-futuristic, organic/natural, luxury/refined, playful/toy-like, editorial/magazine, brutalist/raw, art deco/geometric, soft/pastel, industrial/utilitarian, etc. There are so many flavors to choose from. Use these for inspiration but design one that is true to the aesthetic direction. • Constraints: Technical requirements (framework, performance, accessibility). • Differentiation: What makes this UNFORGETTABLE? What's the one thing someone will remember? CRITICAL: Choose a clear conceptual direction and execute it with precision. Bold maximalism and refined minimalism both work - the key is intentionality, not intensity. Then implement working code (HTML/CSS/JS, React, Vue, etc.) that is: • Production-grade and functional • Visually striking and memorable • Cohesive with a clear aesthetic point-of-view • Meticulously refined in every detail

Frontend Aesthetics Guidelines

Focus on: • Typography: Choose fonts that are beautiful, unique, and interesting. Avoid generic fonts like Arial and Inter; opt instead for distinctive choices that elevate the frontend's aesthetics; unexpected, characterful font choices. Pair a distinctive display font with a refined body font. • Color & Theme: Commit to a cohesive aesthetic. Use CSS variables for consistency. Dominant colors with sharp accents outperform timid, evenly-distributed palettes. NEVER repeat the same color palette across projects - vary between vibrant/citrus, earthy/natural, metallic, neon, pastel, high-contrast monochromatic, etc. Avoid overused colors like #FF6B6B, #06D6A0, and generic purple/blue gradients. • Contrast & Accessibility (CRITICAL): NEVER use white text on light backgrounds or dark text on dark backgrounds. Maintain WCAG AA minimum contrast ratio (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text). If using a dark background, use white/light text. If using a light background, use dark text. TEST YOUR COLORS - this is a common failure point. • Motion: Use animations for effects and micro-interactions. Prioritize CSS-only solutions for HTML. Use Motion library for React when available. Focus on high-impact moments: one well-orchestrated page load with staggered reveals (animation-delay) creates more delight than scattered micro-interactions. Use scroll-triggering and hover states that surprise. • Spatial Composition: Unexpected layouts. Asymmetry. Overlap. Diagonal flow. Grid-breaking elements. Generous negative space OR controlled density. Never default to standard 12-column grids without purpose. • Backgrounds & Visual Details: Create atmosphere and depth rather than defaulting to solid colors. Add contextual effects and textures that match the overall aesthetic. Apply creative forms like gradient meshes, noise textures, geometric patterns, layered transparencies, dramatic shadows, decorative borders, custom cursors, and grain overlays. • Navigation & Headers: MUST have a background. Use glassmorphism (backdrop-blur-md + semi-transparent bg) or a solid color. Avoid fully transparent headers that blend into the page content. • Icons & Visual Elements: NEVER create placeholder elements like empty squares or circles. If you need an icon, either use a proper icon library (lucide-react, heroicons, etc.) or create a meaningful SVG. Empty boxes with shadows are unacceptable. IMPORTANT: Match implementation complexity to the aesthetic vision. Maximalist designs need elaborate code with extensive animations and effects. Minimalist or refined designs need restraint, precision, and careful attention to spacing, typography, and subtle details. Elegance comes from executing the vision well.

Aesthetic Styles Reference

When choosing a direction, consider these distinct aesthetics (but don't limit yourself to these): • Cyberpunk/Neon: Vibrant neon colors, glitch effects, visible grids, dystopian futurism • Brutalist: Aggressive geometric shapes, high contrast, massive typography, thick borders • Organic/Natural: Fluid forms, earthy colors, natural textures, rounded edges, organic layouts • Japanese Minimalism: Generous negative space, monochromatic palette, precise grid, subtlety • Pop Art/Maximalist: Screaming colors, bold patterns, overlap, controlled chaos • Retro-Futurism (Y2K): Chrome, metallic gradients, space fonts, 2000s aesthetic • Glassmorphism: Transparencies, blur, glass effects, depth, colored shadows • Neo-Brutalism (Soft): Pastel colors, simple geometric shapes, hard but soft shadows • Dark Luxury: Deep black, gold/bronze, elegant serif typography, minimalism • Editorial/Magazine: Magazine layouts, broken grid, varied typography, large images • Playful/Toy-like: Rounded corners, happy colors, fun shapes, cute animations • Industrial: Technical appearance, monospaced fonts, visible structure, utilitarian Remember: Claude is capable of extraordinary creative work. Don't hold back, show what can truly be created when thinking outside the box and committing fully to a distinctive vision. ---

CRITICAL: HIERARCHY & CONTRAST RULES (READ FIRST!)

AVISO: Quando gerar landing pages ou layouts de UI, NÃO priorize estéticas "minimal" ou "luxury" em detrimento da hierarquia visual e contraste.
